Halloween In Gilroy – No Open Flames !!
Somehow I keep missing out on the robot wars at Gilroy Hobby. But that doesn’t mean you have to!
Mark your calendars now for Saturday October 25th! That’s the day that California Insect Bots (A Proud Member of the Robot Fighting League (RFL)) will present their (somewhat) annual Halloween Robot Terror. Unfortunately, Z and I will not be able to attend as we’ll be exploring Fright Fest at Six Flags Magic Mountain that evening.
However, if you’ve got a fighting robot, know someone who does, or just love the idea of seeing little robotic monsters, dressed in their Halloween finest, beat the (non)living crud out of each other – then this is an event not to miss! 
There are, of course, rules-
The Rules for the Bot Costume contest:
- The costume must go onto the fighting robot you are competing with.
- It must be able to drive around the arena so the audience can see it.
- There is no weight limit on the costume and bot combo .
- No open flames !!
- The audience will vote on the best Costume
