Accident At Monterey & Farrell
While heading down Monterey this afternoon on my way to pick Zaira up from school I came across the scene pictured at left. Apparently two cars got to know each other a little too well, so half a dozen Gilroy Police Officers and a couple of tow trucks came out to secure the area.
It didn’t appear to me that anyone was hurt (no ambulances, several “citizens” wandering around), though the cars did look rather worse for wear and there was plenty of glass in the intersection as my fellow travelers and I were detoured onto Farrell.
I didn’t see the accident and the police were not in the mood to talk, so I don’t have any real details, but I did manage to grab these pictures, So I thought I’d share them with y’all. Based on the damage doe to the cars and the location of the debris I would guess a left turn gone very, very wrong.
